This is my final piece for the GCSE art coursework. I've posted a couple of other versions of this, but this is the actual finished work. I used Acrylic paint on canvas, and the canvas is 20x50. I only had that canvas because I just came across it in WHSmiths while I was buying a sketchpad. Personally, I think that's a lucky accident. I tried to give the dots on the trees, grass and balloon a sort of ridged effect, to make them lumpy. We were meant to choose an artist and do it in their sort of style, and I chose pointilism, y'know Suerat's style. There is quite a bit of white space in the sky, but that's because I couldn't be bothered to go over it it sort of lightens it up a bit, and makes it slightly closer to the actual colour of the sky.
and good luck with your GCSE's
