This is my theory as to why season three has been so awesome. It's actually the same amount of awesomeness that would normally be in a whole season, but squeezed into half as many episodes - leading to what, so far, has been a whole season of episodes that are better than any episode of the previous two seasons.

Round of applause for everyone at DHX.

I honestly hope they release these seasons over here in the UK, or atleast on Region 2 DVDs or Regionless Blu Rays. Because seriously, I would love to be able to throw money at the show, but the UK doesn't even get iTunes releases, and it's not like we can watch it on TV since the channel that has the rights chooses not to air it. (That, and my family's TV package doesn't even get Boomerang anymore...)

season 3 has exactly 5 great episodes in my opinion ( crystal empire part 1 and 2, wonder bolts academy, games ponies play and of couse the best episode in all three seasons magical mystery cure) although it is clearly the worst of the three seasons i certainly don't think its as bad as people say.

Honestly, I thought the best two episodes of this season were "Magic Duel" and "Sleepless In Ponyville", though that might change after a couple rewatches.

I think season three had one, two maybe three good episodes I often found skipping about 10 minutes due to it being a bit boring. I've now been questioning why I watch the show if I get bored of some episodes, see spoilers in the comment section or I work out the plot in a few seconds of the show starting. Maybe I should go back to my other shows I like.

But in any case the comic was amusing in the way it is presented as the creators being a group of Yes Mans :iconyesmanfalloutplz: although it sucks that not only this show's third season had 13 episode Transformers Prime will be getting the same treatment aswell.

Derpy's not making much appearances. Rumors are going around stating that she was killed off the show, but others are saying she's still alive to DHX. I dunno WHICH to believe. And I don't know if any official PONY sites like EQD can dig out that stuff.

Well, even if she does disappear from the show, she'll live on in the fandom. If Hasbro forces DHX to let her go, she'll always have a home with the bronies.

If Applejack being zapped exactly like Derpy in "Apple Family Reunion" is a good sign, then I'm certain and sure that our little wall-eyed mare is not dead. She did, however, get turned into a spider in IDW issue 2

Eh, it's just my opinion, but it seems we've had 50/50 really awesome vs. mildly sub-par. Except for Magic Duel, which I'd like to pretend never happened.
